Les Escoumins to Cabot Strait
Open water from Les Escoumins to 6822W. Young and new ice from 6822W to 6427W. Mainly open water and ice free from 6427W to Cabot Strait.

Pointe-des-Monts to Strait of Belle Isle
Mainly young and new ice from Pointe-des-Monts to 6547W. Open water from 6547W to 5921W. Mainly new ice from 5921W to 5726W. Young and new ice from 5726W to Belle-Isle Strait.

Normal shipping routes are in effect from Les Escoumins to Cabot Strait. Strait of Belle-Isle is not recommended for shipping. Contact Ice St. John’s to get the latest ice information through Strait of Belle Isle
