Ice bulletin for the St. Lawrence River and the Gulf from Les Escoumins to Cabot and Belle Isle Straits issued at 2100 UTC Sunday, January 28, 2024 by Montreal Ice Centre of the Canadian Coast Guard. Next bulletin will be issued at 2100 UTC Monday.

Normal shipping routes are in effect from Les Escoumins to Cabot Strait and to Strait of Belle Isle, as well as along the Lower North Shore.

General ice conditions:
Les Escoumins to Cabot Strait
Young and new ice from Les Escoumins to Heath Point. Mainly open water from Heath Point to Cabot Strait.

Pointe-des-Monts to Strait of Belle Isle
Young and new ice and open water in the traffic separation scheme from Pointe-des-Monts to Strait of Belle Isle.

Lower North Shore from Sept-Īles to Blanc-Sablon within 10 NM of the shore
Young and new ice and open water.
