THIRTY DAY ICE OUTLOOK FOR HUDSON AND FOXE FOR DECEMBER ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA ON 28 NOVEMBER 2022.  THIS IS THE LAST FORECAST BULLETIN OF THE SEASON.

Summary for November 16-26.
Average air temperatures have been below normal for most of the forecast region except slightly above normal over northeastern and western Hudson Bay.  Ice conditions remain near normal for the region for late November except there is more ice than normal in Davis Strait, northern Hudson Bay and along the southern coast of Hudson Strait.

Weather forecast for November 28 to December 31.
Air temperatures are forecast to be above normal over the forecast region except near normal over western Hudson Bay and below normal over northeastern Hudson Strait and Davis Strait. 

Southern Labrador Coast.
November 28-December 12 
	- Bergy water except areas of 1-3 tenths new ice forming along parts of the coast.
December 13-23
	- 1-3 tenths new and grey ice with areas of 7-8 tenths new and grey ice along the coast.
	- Elsewhere, bergy water. 
December 24-31
	- 1-3 tenths new and grey ice with areas of 7-8 tenths grey ice along the coast.
	- Elsewhere, bergy water. 

Northern Labrador Coast.
November 28-December 10
	- Bergy water except areas of 4-6 tenths new ice along parts of the coast and in the northwestern section. 
December 11-18
	- 1-3 tenths new ice with areas of 7-8 tenths new and grey ice along parts of the coast and in the northwestern section.
	- Elsewhere, bergy water. 
December 19-31
	- 4-6 tenths new and grey ice with areas of 9-9+ tenths grey and grey-white ice along the coast.
	- 7-8 tenths grey and grey-white ice with areas of 9-9+ tenths grey and grey-white ice in the northwestern section.
	- Elsewhere, bergy water. 

Lake Melville.
November 28-December 3
	- 1-3 tenths new and grey ice with areas of 7-8 tenths new and grey ice. 
December 4-11

	- 9-9+ tenths grey and grey-white ice over central parts of the bay and near the entrance.
	- Consolidated thin first-year ice along the coasts. 

Cumberland Sound.
November 28-December 7

	- 9-9+ tenths grey-white and thin first-year ice near the eastern entrance.
